MISSION STATEMENT

Following are the objectives, goals and missions planned
for Dolphin:
1. Restore and refit Schooner Dolphin to return this historic old sailing
vessel to useful work at sea in service of the people and oceans of the
world.
2. Position Dolphin as a floating embassy from and to the oceans of the
world.
3. Make Dolphin available as an ocean going vessel to conduct research,
aid, relief, public relations and environmental sustainability missions
in partnership with other NGO trusts and foundations world-wide.
4. Provide humanitarian and medical aid and relief missions around the
world by delivering free health care and medical supplies to people living
in small coastal villages lacking modern medical care in partnership with
a number of medical aid foundations. Services will be provided in the
Caribbean, Central and South America, the South Pacific, Asia and Africa
as Dolphin works her way along the coasts of these areas in between other
scheduled charters and missions.
5. Assist in the preservation of the marine environment and promote healthy
oceans by conducting research, media communications, on site mitigation
efforts and environmental sustainability programs in partnership with
OceansWatch and other ocean environmental foundations world-wide.
6. Provide inspiring and empowering day sail experiences for economically,
physically, medically, mentally of otherwise challenged individuals in
partnership with other charitable and humanitarian foundations and organizations.
7. Transport media, government and influential persons on trips to see
and experience first hand the state of the oceans in critical ecosystems.
8. Have fun, celebrate life and play with like-minded people while sailing,
diving and helping to restore and preserve our beautiful ocean environment.
